Summer Training on Computer Aided Drug and Peptide Design

We are offering a training program on computer aided drug and peptide design course in next 6-8 April 2018 with 30 days [flexible time] work on a research project.

In this program, students will learn basic computational chemistry, related computational software and their application to research in chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry, molecular biology and microbiology . Certificate will be provided.

Training Content:
Basic theory of computational chemistry, optimization and characterization of molecules by molecular mechanics (MM), semi-empirical and quantum mechanics (QM) theories, molecular dynamics (MD) simulation for conformational search of drugs and peptides , Density functional theory, Molecular Docking, virtual screening, Drug-Protein Interaction, Peptide-Protein Interaction, Protein Target Selection, Non-bonding Interaction, Drug-Protein and Peptide-Protein Molecular Dynamics, Interpretation and processing of computational data with different software.

After four days of training, participant requires to submit a short research project on drug or peptide design by May 8th 2018. Participant from outside Dhaka will be given different project which can be worked from their home computer.

BSc [Honors] 2nd-4th Year/Masters/Young Professional in Chemistry/Pharmacy/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Biophysics/Chemical Engineering/Microbiology

Selection
Applications will be assessed continuously (within a week) until all positions are occupied. Enrolment will be based on first come first serve.

Initially selected candidates require to pay the training fees within the given date to confirm their position. As seats are limited, initially selected candidates should enrol for the program as soon possible.
