About

The Red-Green Research Centre conducts research with the aim of discovering and understanding the chemical and biological phenomena in atomic level investigated by computational approach.

Most of our researchers are from chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, biology, and genetic engineering background who work together in various projects in computational chemistry, computational biology, and bioinformatics.

The Red Green Research Centre (previously known as Bangladesh Institute of Computational Chemistry and Biochemistry) was founded in 2013 by Dr. Mohammad Halim from donations received from his  students, colleagues, friends, family members, and well-wishers. All young researchers, collaborators, and principal investigators voluntarily work at the centre.

The goal of the Red-Green Research Centre is to promote research culture in Bangladesh and to train students for cutting-edge research in computational chemistry, computational biology, and bioinformatics.
